Technology and processes

Design

IThe R&D department, with its qualified staff, continuous training, and access to advanced technologies, is the springboard for FM Partec to transform ideas to be developed and problems to be solved into concrete solutions, thanks to careful design.  Designing means paying attention to every detail: from the initial concept to the creation of the final product, from preparing technical documentation to supporting customers in product use.

Thanks to its Technical Department, FM Partec has developed and continues to expand a range of standard products in its catalog, available for immediate delivery: a line for the ceramics sector, a line of roller conveyors for transport and logistics, and the patented GreenBlow line for Food & Beverage applications.

Furthermore, FM Partec provides contract molding services, partnering with customers to plan and execute projects in the most effective way.

Tooling centre

The operational heart of the company, this workshop marked the start of FM Partec’s journey. Experienced operators, supported by CAD-CAM technologies, ensure seamless collaboration between the workshop and the technical office to design molds and equipment for thermoplastic processing. Each mold is carefully monitored throughout its life cycle with regular checks, maintenance, and updates to meet evolving production needs.

The department is equipped with modern work centres, electroerosion machines, CNC milling machines and lathes, grinding machines and a data collection system for monitoring orders.

Moulding

The molding of thermoplastic materials is FM Partec's main production activity. Projects take shape from high-quality raw materials in a department equipped with advanced monitoring systems to provide timely responses on orders and on product quality.

Thermoplastics, materials that are constantly evolving and developing, are increasingly becoming a valid alternative to many metallic materials in terms of quality, weight, and cost in numerous applications.

The department has 26 horizontal injection molding machines ranging from 12.5 to 520 tons, two bridge cranes, and a section dedicated to the assembly and packaging of components

Processed materials

Thanks to its Research Laboratory, FM Partec works synergistically with universities, specialized technology centers, and compounders to develop new materials and launch research projects that address needs for which the plastics market does not yet offer solutions.

The processed materials include: polyolefins, styrenic resins, thermoplastic polyesters, polyamides, polycarbonate, acrylic and acetal resins, PPS, elastomers and thermoplastic polyurethanes, and the latest supertechnopolymers, as well as materials from renewable sources for lasting applications.

All materials can be enhanced with additives and reinforced to improve their mechanical, thermal, wear, or conductive performance. Coloring is achieved using specific master batches, in accordance with technical standards, avoiding the need for additional surface finish.

Service

FM Partec ensures efficient and timely service thanks to an optimized organization in every phase, from planning to production and stocking, in order to guarantee the rapid preparation of products that are then shipped to customers worldwide.

A stock of semi-finished and finished products, reviewed quarterly to match market demand, along with an assembly department for made-to-order products, allows fast delivery of standard catalog items, which are continually expanding.

A local team of technical and commercial experts stays up-to-date to provide global customers with customized support.

A network of highly qualified agents and distributors in over 40 countries maintains direct contact with the Correggio headquarters to provide global technical and commercial assistance, supported by ongoing training to ensure a competent, high-quality service.
