SU-AC-BELSTR - Belt tensioner

The function of the spacer is to tension the belts used in systems consisting of: pulley, rotating shaft, shaft support.

The technique consists of fixing the tensioner alongside the self-aligning support. The latter must be able to be moved by the thrust exerted by the screw (TE M16x160 UNI5739) resting on its side. Adjustment of the distance between the tensioner and the shaft support is the parameter that enables optimum belt tensioning, both during installation and when adjusting and maintaining the system.

Once this step is complete, it is important to remember to secure the shaft support so that it performs its function safely.
